Structural Analysis of Hirudin Using FT-IR and FT-Raman Spectroscopic Techniques
FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra of hirudin have been recorded from the native solid hirudin. The conformation of the molecule has been discussed on the basis of IR and Raman data. It has been concluded that hirudin molecule has a mixed a-helix and random coil conformation.
متن کاملFTIR, FT-Raman spectra and DFT analysis of 3-methyl-4-nitrophenol
The FTIR and FT-Raman spectra of 3-methyl-4-nitrophenol (MNP) have been recorded in the regions 4000-400 cm and 3500-50 cm, respectively. Utilizing the observed FTIR and FT-Raman data, a complete vibrational assignment and analysis of the fundamental modes of the compound have been carried out. The optimum molecular geometry, harmonic vibrational frequencies, infrared intensities and Raman scat...
متن کاملFT-Raman, FTIR spectra and normal coordinate analysis of 5-bromo-2-nitropyridine
The Fourier Transform-Raman and Fourier Transform-Infrared spectra of 5-bromo-2-nitropyridine have been recorded. The observed frequencies were assigned to various modes of vibrations on the basis of normal coordinate calculations, assuming CS point group symmetry. The potential energy distribution associated with normal modes is also reported here. The assignment of fundamental vibrations agre...
متن کاملFT-IR, FT-Raman, NMR and FMO Analysis of 3-(2- Furyl) Propionic Acid By Quantum Chemical Calculations
In the present study 3-(2-Furyl) Propionicacid (C7H8O3) abbreviated as 32FPA which has biological applications had been investigated with Density functional theory calculations with Gaussian 03 software package. The FT-IR, FT-Raman, NMR spectra of the title compound was recorded and analyzed. The equilibrium geometry, bonding features and harmonic vibrational wave numbers were investigated with...
متن کاملIdentification of selected seaweed polysaccharides (phycocolloids) by vibrational spectroscopy (FTIR-ATR and FT-Raman)
The wide industrial application of phycocolloids (e.g. alginates, agar and carrageenans) is based on their particular properties to form gels in aqueous solution. These seaweed polysaccharides present a chemical structure related with the taxonomic position of the algae: carrageenans are produced by carrageenophytes (red algae belonging mainly to the genera Kappaphycus, Eucheuma, Chondrus, Giga...
